Dreading the thought. (by 6764066)
I know the time is soon drawing near for me to do what i have to do. My dog is 19 yrs old and doing very well believe it or not , but as the days go on ,i see the movements getting slower but yet she barks , eats normal jumps around , well all the normal stuff, any suggestions or thoughts on this matter. Should i do something now or wait a little longer cause she seems not to be suffering at all. Thanks shawn.
hmm she seems happy and healthy....hmmm wouldnt it be funny if she had to decide what she should with you? Lol hmm he seems alrite but I dont know...I say let her live. Maybe someday she will slip away quietly in her sleep...if she were in horrible pain then yes you should let her go. For now just enjoy your time with each other
Well watever ur choice remember them good memories and treat her well till the end
@velvetvega: Thank you very much for your response, that's what i was thinking at first cause she seems good. I hope it turns out that way too, passing away here in her sleep with daddy. Thank you very much ,feedback really does help.
@velvetvega: I know she does and the feeling is obviously mutual, thanks again.
She seems to be happy in her old age my opinion let her live untill she ceased to exists but if shes suffering from an illness etc then the vet would give you the best advice about your loving dog:)
i say if you dog is not in pain or is happy and still doing well dont do anything. If it starts showing signs of distress or pain then consult a vet
I think that's the best advice. I'm afraid that I'm going to have the same dilemma in the not too distant future.
