@Rainbowbutterfly: We try to rotate the crops every year unless the field can not be irrigated due to lack of a near by water source or it's too unlevel to water.

Would of never thought it would be raining here today, but it is...

I don't know if we will be able to harvest today or not. After it rained yesterday the wind began blowing, so it may dry the soybeans plus it's suppose to be hot today high reaching up in the lower 90's the next few days. We also may begin preparing some fields to plant this season's wheat crop.

Would that means that if you guys can't harvest today , you'll have short hours of work ?

Yesterday I spent all day driving a tractor pulling a disc over the fields we are going to plant wheat in. While my co-workers finished the field of soybeans we were in last Saturday. We do not have any other soybeans ready to for harvest at this time, they're still too green at this time. /// I watched Monday night football, can't believe the ending to the game though.

I had help today preparing the wheat fields, we got 5 fields ready but don't know when we will begin to plant the wheat seed.

Today I drove a tractor & disc over the corn fields. Only took 10 hrs to cover both fields but I sure am tired of driving for the day...

It's a warm morning here, going to be hot & humid today. Don't know what I'll be doing at work today if we are not able to return back to harvesting the soybean crop.
