My [35F] lifelong best friend [35F] didn't invite me to her wedding
My best friend and I have known each other since elementary school. We live on opposite coasts and do zoom hangouts almost every day. It has slowly trickled out that she is getting married next weekend. She has never brought it up to me, but it came out while we were doing zoom hangouts with one of her other friends. Her other friend is a bridesmaid, and my friend's family is traveling from all over the world to come to the wedding.
My friend never invited me and has never had a single conversation with me about her wedding. We talk almost every day about other stuff. One time I asked her directly about the wedding and she left me on read.
I am at a loss. I have no idea what I did wrong. How do I talk to her about this? I need some kind of script to follow because I have absolutely no idea what to say. Or maybe I should just take the hint and also never bring it up!?
