The Blueberry farm

I know that you think that what I'm going to say may sound fake and to be honest, I don't blame you. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw what happened too, It felt like a nightmare was coming true.
So Let me take you on a trip to the beginning of my horrifying experience with our farm...

It all started at the beginning of lockdown: the virus was taking over the world and my dad was having a serious case of covid-19 so I traveled to London to be with my wife Katie to take my mind off things. She invited me over to make sure I was as relaxed as possible, telling me that if I needed anything, I could rely on her. That was one of her perks, she was naturally caring for everyone all of the time.
When we first met, it was like we were perfect for each other. We were interested in the same foods, films, games and hobbies. We kept dating for the next few weeks and eventually, we were married. I know it was too soon but I thought -at the time- that it was perfect. I then found out that she was into baking things, perfecting every recipe that she sees. That was what gave me the idea to buy some blueberry seeds for a pie we were going to bake, along with ice cream and muffins.
As we were walking around the streets of London, we got these blueberry seeds from a stranger next to an abandoned factory. These seeds were unlike anything we'd seen before, pulsing colors of Violet and cyan from them. I thought it looked suspicious and told Katie that we should probably go somewhere else but she just wanted to have them, she was so excited to see what they'd taste like when fully grown so, we purchased them. She had a lovely personality but was stubborn when she wanted to be and it showed sometimes.
As I was watching from my kitchen window sipping my coffee, Katie was planting the blueberry seeds into the earth, waving at me and smiling whilst watering them. I had not seen her this happy for a long time and it made me happy. Seeing her gorgeous smile with a gleam in her emerald green eyes was giving me a sense of warmth that I hadn't felt in a long time.
After a few months of re-watching Charlie and the chocolate factory for the twentieth time in a row, the farm was ready for harvest and Katie made a massive blueberry pie with muffins and a mint chocolate ice cream for dessert. It took a long time to bake but it was worth it, It looked delicious and it was. The taste was something extraordinary: the sweet tastes of the muffins to the crunchy pastry with blueberry filling from the pie combined with the minty ice cream, it was like we were in heaven afterwards.
After a few minutes of eating and laughing at the worst television shows ever, I had noticed something very strange around my girlfriend's nose: a tinge of blue was appearing. "Michael?" She asked, looking at my worried expression, "what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."
If only she knew what was happening.
By this point, it had already spread to the eyes and neck, I had no idea what to do in this situation so I came up with a plan, "N- Nothing Kate, h- how about we go for a walk outside?" I had no idea how to solve the issue of a splash of colour on someone's nose, going outside was the first thing I thought of at the time. Thoughts were rushing through my mind, mostly negative, about what was happening.
she's going to die! What do I do? This is my fault!
Before she could answer my question, the color covered her hair and all the way down to the torso, turning into a shade of purple and violet. She was still oblivious to what was happening, she just sat where she was, looking confused at why I was panicking. as soon as the hues of purple, violet and blue touched her feet, the inflation began. her expression changed from curiosity to pure shock when she looked at her body. as soon as she realized what was happening, a single tear ran down her face.
"W- Whats happening to me Michael?!" Katie cried through a never ending swelling of her body with very spine chilling noises of what sounded like blueberry juice swirling around inside the stomach. "Why am I turning different colors? I feel so sick!"
****.. this was bad, this was really bad! It was getting worst by the second as well, the love of my life was swelling rapidly, eyes bulging from her sockets, and her slim stomach and waist widened, showing her stomach through her t-shirt. She was dying before my eyes and I was just standing there, shocked with the process, she was bloating up to the ceiling, with her body transforming into the shape of a blueberry. A wave of emotion came over me as I knew what was coming next.
After a while of more swelling, she exploded, leaving nothing but the juice that filled her body. I went to a therapist to cope with my diagnosis of depression a couple of weeks later, My friends didn't believe me when I told them the news and laughed when they heard I was depressed. At this point I was too busy thinking about everything that had just occurred to even care...
She was the love of my life, she meant everything to me and now she's gone, Just because of a god damn blueberry pie that she'd baked with pride. Those seeds are a curse and a danger to everyone who tries them. If you encounter a guy with pale skin, a tall hat and round sunglasses, avoid him at all costs.
Please tell me you believe me now!...
Do you believe me?
