(23M) My Girlfriend told me other people are more engaging to talk to.
(22F) She barely talks when the two of us are together or calling, but when we play games with her friends she met online less than a year ago she becomes talkative, starts conversations, playful, and interactive.
I asked her yesterday and she admitted that a lot of the time when we talk she gets a little bored because she doesn't understand what i'm talking about (nothing complex just nerd culture things she is also nerdy.)
She doesn't like that I get jealous when she starts getting talkative with other guys she even said are more engaging than me. She also told me she thinks she's still shy around me and hasnt broken out of her shell. I pretty much have to carry every conversation we have, but with other people/guys she will start conversations about stuff she could talk to me about. I really want our relationship to work, we've known eachother 10 years, were best friends for 3, and we've been dating for a few months.
TL;DR: Is this a sign? What should I do? What should she do?
