My back is killing me! (by semisweet)

I've tried everything I can think of: hot bath, Aleve, heating pad, stretching, squats, drinking a bunch of water, pain ointment... it's like a dull nerve pain on both sides. I was bent over the oven when I felt it kinda pop and it's been hurting ever since.

Any other suggestions?

Ice pack. I get that same thing alot from seemingly innocent movements...stretching to make up a bed, bending and twisting wrong....even stepping out of the bath once, twisted and lifted my leg and felt my back go.
It's muscle spasms (hopefully) and the ice pack helps with any swelling.
I also will lay on the floor with a tennis ball on the affected area and roll around on it. It's like a deep tissue massage.
And stretching will help. Google stretches for back pain.
This is no miracle cure....alternate hot and cold packs, nsaids, and rest....about all you can do.

@MrWalkSoftly: I didn't even think of ice! H told me there was a swollen knot on my back. I'll try that. I need a tennis ball too. Thanks Walkie

Try Homeopathy , its the best cure for it , or some alternative med like acupuncture if you trust it . I have struggled with back pain for a long time and these things worked for me .
