This day in history - July 28th 1914 - World War One Begins. A lot happens over the next 5 years and millions of humans are mercilessly killed as pawns whose destinies are controlled by European colonial ambitions.

What is conveniently forgotten by "historians" is the fact that 1 million Indians fought for their oppressors - the British. The same British who had killed nearly 50-60 million Indians in artificial famines & completely ruined Indian economy & culture. Nearly 75,000 Indians died in the war and barely any movie, novel or other popular narratives even acknowledge this fact.

And which character assisted in recruiting Indians in such large numbers? Take a guess...

Yes it's "mahatma" Gandhi. He not only helped recruit Indians in Boer war but also majorly helped British in World War One. Wonder where his "non violence" had gone when he said that "it's the prime duty of Indian subjects to die in this war for the British". Is it any surprise that he was always treated with kid gloves by British & west always tries to impose him on Hindus? He was good for them and bad for us.
