So my girl loves to read romance books and sci-fi. her birthday comin up on mid July. anybody know any good authors? this poor boy knows cheap bool store so figured it make great present

The Giver is a good Sci-fi book
and
Isaac Asimov is my favorite sci-fi author...he has lots of stuff.

Sorry, no suggestions for romance books. :)

@junderhood: The obvious names being Nora Roberts, Danielle Steel and Nicolas Sparks.
Other names of decent authors are: Julia Quinn, Jude Deveraux, Sarah MacLean, Mary Jo Putney
That should give you a decent list to work with there

@junderhood: that one is sci fi romance....really good book. And unexpected. Personally I like a book that surprises me.
