Help!

My engine runs hot when I am in idle for more than 10 minutes with the air on...
I had someone tell me at work that it just needs freon...is that true?

Sincerely,
Me :)

@sweeterthejuic3: No. Low freon has nothing to do with your engine temp.
Start by checking the coolant level in your rad. DON'T check it with engine hot.
If it's good, then it could be dirty radiator, thermostat control on fan, or engine thermostat.
