I have know this guy for a long time we are exceptionally good friends and recently he made it clear he was interested in more. We went on a couple of dates and they were great...but...I thought long and hard about it and called him after the second date and told him that I was happier than I had been in a long time and didn't want to answer to a man even one I adored as much as him. I told him that I wanted to just continue being friends, mebbe fwb, but lets just take it slow and play it by ear. He has made it clear he wants the fwb since that conversation. My question is....am I being a bitch leading him on and sleeping with him if I made it clear that at least for now that is all I want? I truly respect and like this man and he isn't one to trifle with a woman. I hate the thought of hurting him or losing the friendship we have.

@LaDawn: take it slow means you are interested in a possible future relationship so just keep in mind he is looking for the same. Just continue to be honest with him and everything should be ok. Jmo

@LaDawn: being honest and letting him know where you stand is the best thing leading him on would be making him think you want to be more but in actuality you dont

@Donnie1987: well hello my friend...I really do like this guy. remember I told ya if I met a man as respectful of himself and the people around him as my Papa was I'd ****** him up? This one stands right there in decency and hardworking and old fashioned true respect. I don't wanna mess anything up with sex though. But I think that as long as we communicate honestly we can just see where it goes. I hope. :^)

Well, it seems like he's okay with it, so why not? Just as long as y'all are both honest about expectations. The only problem I see is transitioning from fwb to a relationship...someone might catch feelings before someone else and it could mess up the friendship. Idk just keep an eye out and enjoy each other :)

Well hell...last night didn't go like I thought it wld...I read him wrong...guess it wasn't as clear as I thought. He isn't interested in fwb...he told me he loves me and has for a long time and he isn't in any hurry...when I am ready for a relationship THEN we will have sex. Now What?
