Your Idea Of What the Forum Should Be (by Ram318)

Here's a place to voice your opinion. This is by no means a suggestion to Andres. Its more like a place to express your views abt what you would like to see, or not see here. My personal views are: I would like to see less emphasis put on whether a user is or is not verified when making a thread. Someone may have jus joined and not got around to it yet...or maybe they have a good reason for not doing so. I want to see less 'want ads' here. Your profile is already a 'want ad'. I could care less whether nudity is allowed but understand admins reasoning in the matter and am good with it. Basically, I just wanna see more members join in, create new and interesting threads, etc....these views are solely my own and do not reflect the views and policies of dating.mobi or anyone else. Feel free to post w/o retribution from me, but I cannot guarantee your safety from others

I wld like to see the Forums used as a tool to determine if ur interested in someone, that cnt be done if ur not free to express what ur thoughts r on ANY given subject. I wld like less emphasis placed on whether u were pc or not in ur reply and more emphasis placed on a genuinely respectful exchanging of ideas.

Are we going for a record about how many threads are on the same subject? Or just flooding the streets to wear out the authorities as they carry sandbags from thread to thread? I'd like to see us raise the bar with intellectual conversation, founded on the concept of free speech (and that means everyone including the cia the commitee to intervene anywhere) with an adult attitude of agreeing to disagree without being disagreeable

I would like to see people be more open and honest without getting attacked by others. I think it's unfair that some feel like they have to edit themselves or change who they are just so they can fit in here. I wish more people could be as uncaring about what others think, like myself and a few others ( ^.^). I would like to see a wider variety of topics, and have them just be accepted. Whether you want to talk about the price of bananas in Lower Mongolia or how you like to throw sh*t at strangers! I hate the fact that some people are so quick to jump down others throats, and p*ss and moan about the subjects people choose to talk about. Then, when someone judges them, they get all high and mighty and complain about being judged. I'd love to see everyone just get along, and be able to openly discuss whatever the hell they want to! Less want ads would be nice, but I just tend to ignore them anyway lol

I would like for everyone to stop getting so upset when others post something they dont like. I think the forums should be open to everyone and if someone is questioned about their opinion it not be considered being "jumped" or judged. I like Dating.mobi for not having nudity, if it had it i wouldnt be here, im not here to meet a man of sort and i believe people that bring that to Dating.mobi are interferring with the oportunity of the ones here for a true reason. I do like to see pics verified especially if they are gonna request to be judged like "am i ugly" or "rate me 1-10" or "do u wanna send xxx pics".

@Brite: Sadly there is a difference between stating an opinion and jumping down someones throat. Some people have not, or will not learn the difference. There is a way to disagree without being rude and hurting someones feelings... (or p*ssing them off for that matter lol)

@Irish Lol yes thats my point...some dont know the difference. I'll use as an example...if someone advertises on the forums and someone tells them this isnt the place to advertise (which has been done numerous times to men and women) well i dont think thats jumping on them. But some people seem to believe it is. idk jmo...now once it gets to name calling then thats a different story...that goes beyond being rude and hurting feelings or stating ur opinion.

@Brite: Even then sometimes people cross a line. I feel like just saying *Hey, this isn't the place for that* is one thing. But, being all high and mighty about it is a whole other can of worms. Some people honestly just don't know any better. Hell, my very first thread in the intro forum was kind of a personal add, but I thought that's what it was for! lol Now I know better :)
