my bf is ****** bc i didn?t want to have sex

ok so, disclaimer: this is pretty much my first serious boyfriend. we?re both 20 and have sex every day and more often than not, twice. (including last night 2x)
but anyway i?m literally writing this like 15 minutes after it happened. it?s currently 9am where i live and had just woken up, and was lying on my side scrolling through instagram. my bf was being big spoon and started kissing me and whatever trying to get me to get on top of him and asked if i wanted to have sex. i said no and this man was BAFFLED. like dumbfounded that i said no (probably bc i usually say yes) and that i had just woken up and i?m tired. and he let go of cuddling me and moved to the opposite side of the bed and is giving me the silent treatment.
i know i?m allowed to say no whenever as is he, but damn this makes me feel like ****. and also since this is my first real boyfriend idrk how to handle it. any advice would be appreciated (:
TL;DR: my boyfriend is pissy bc i didn?t want to have sex right after waking up, even though we do it all the time. i?m not sure what to do.
