My (26F) new boyfriend (29M) wants me to change how I dress. Should I be worried? (by Sparky)
My (26F) new boyfriend (29M) wants me to change how I dress. Should I be worried?
My style is very girly, uber feminine. I love pastels and I like flowy dresses that hit above the knee to dresses that go to my ankle depending on how I feel like dressing that particular day.
My boyfriend likes black clothing, in particular, he likes more form-fitting dresses that reach about mid-thigh. He mentioned that if a man takes care of his woman and loves and provides for her dressing how he likes should not be an issue.
I feel like he is perfect in every way and just what I need in life right now, but for some reason this is disturbing me. Shouldn't he like me for me no matter how I dress or is this a reasonable request from a great guy who just likes what he likes?
tl;dr: My boyfriend wants me to change how I dress; I'm conflicted on whether this is a reasonable request or not.
