My boyfriend wants to buy me things but becomes angry when I ask for help with health insurance instead

I (30f) have been with my boyfriend (29m) for a long time (about five years). He has been providing for me and I have recently been suffering from severe depression and anxiety for which I need treatment. I didn?t have health insurance for a long time, especially since I stopped working. My boyfriend has been kind and supportive. I wanted to get back on my health insurance, and get into therapy. He always wants to buy me things, like clothes, make the house nice, get me a computer, pretty much anything. I never really want these things because I feel so guilty because I?m not working, but he tells me he wants me to have these things. Today, I asked, instead of these things, if I could have help with my health insurance instead (it?s 200 euros a month), and he became angry and flippant. He said he couldn?t afford to be paying for me, and I have to figure it out myself. I felt really crushed. He has said the same thing when I tried to bring up therapy that I so desperately needed. I am not able work at the moment, I have difficultly focusing and break down sometimes. I had looked into state support last year, but I was told that because my boyfriend makes so much money (over 8,000 euros a month), it?s likely I wouldn?t qualify for state assistance (I live in a socialist country and they do it by household and we?ve been together for a few years). This hurts so much but at the same time I feel like a screwed up huge here and now he?s really upset with me. I don?t know what to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Edit: I?m more devastated at the way my boyfriend has chosen to treat me. He has financially supported me in almost every way, but for this he chooses not to. I don?t ask for much from him and this broke my heart. I ignored the payments for months because I was too afraid to ask him, and then I did today. Also, I seriously don?t need a lecture on how I?m in this situation that is so impossible/unheard of.
