I am almost done w book 4 n it is amazine. They can not make the show fast enough. Dying 2 know what happen in the 5th book bc that has my fav ppl in it.

I got the first book but I haven't had time to read it... Do you prefer the books or the show?

Its hard bc the show is great n the books r better. It's just he tends 2 get long winded when he is explaining things.

@Wiccangoddess: My sister just LOVES the show but has never read the books and another friend (who got me to buy the book) loves the books but hasn't seen the show.. lol Personally, I rarely enjoy movies/shows based on books because they tend to overlook details. And seeing how long the books are, I wouldn't be surprised if they did leave out one or two things.

did you know that parts of game of thrones is shot close to where i live in Northern ireland? I'll try to find out exactly where if ud like :)

Yeah there's a few things that r different but it pretty much follows the books so far. N now i have another reason 2 go 2 ireland

ive read all five game of thrones books and ive seen both seasons so far of the show. the books have more detail but i think they r doing a great job on the show with filling in the missing pieces
