Do you see a white-on-red Status Alert at the top saying "Message sent." after you send a message (regardless of what page it takes you to)? If so, then that means your message was successfully sent.

Dont know if I have a solution to this issue, but I do have an observation...I used to have this issue when using an Opera Mini browser....I then switched to a regular Opera web browser, which is different than the mini....The Opera browser has two modes of use...regular and compression, which compresses data and seems to run a lil faster...for example, in compression mode, the emoticons here arent animated.....while they are animated in regular mode....I say all that to say this....the issue of disappearing text happens occasionally when Im in compression mode but has not yet happened when Im using the regular mode....like I said, just an observation.
