How do you feel about dating someone 15 years younger or more? (by nightwolf58)

I dated a man 17 yrs my senior, I was in my 20's. Frankly, I believe I wld still be wih him if he hadn't died in an auto accident. I find myself attracted to men that still treat those around them with respect and unfortunately each generation seems to have less and less respectful ppl in it. We ad no problem with our age difference as we shared the same underlying fundamentals. I fell in love with him and he just happened to be older than me. I tend to stay in my age range now but i wld never outright reject the possibility of love with someone older or younger.

I agree it has to do with menatality and maturity. Because i know a few in there fiftys still act like twenty year olds. If i have a interest in someone younger. They would have to prove they are mentally and mature enough to be with me. I have two small children dont need to raise an adult too.

For me i am attracted to younger men, but i worry about how young is to young. My las bf was 28, we had alot of fun together, but like 19-20 i jus dont know cuz i have children that age, wouldnt that be wierd, me dating a 19 when i have a 19 yr old daughter? The men dont seem to mind, but i gotta ques it.

My bf is 52. Everything between us is good. I love him so much. What has been an issue is a dramatic life with tons of baggage. Because he's older, he's already done a lot of things and there's just lots of baggage. This is what most people are wary of when it comes to dating older. But I told him not to drag it all into our relationship because it will definitely weigh it down and ruin it.

@nightwolf58: I think it would depend on the age they act! I was born in 62 and as kids we actually went outside, rode bikes and played games. Could live without all the technology!

i was married to my ex husband, who was @ that time 15yrs older then me. we did make our relationship work for 2 yrs. the reason we divorced is cause he loved to cheat on a good women....it all has to do with the connection, i think
