Craving Circus Peanuts (by Critter1211)
Ok here's the deal. I've been craving circus peanuts for about a week and finally got some a few days ago, but left them in my sons car. Well i bought some more today. My mom said my sugar must be high. I had my blood checked last week and ofcourse it was high, they uped my diabetic insulin (which i don't take) and I'm suppose to check my sugar each time before i eat, but i am scared. Anyway...is it true i will crave sugary products if my sugar is really high. I mean, I HAD TO HAVE THESE CIRCUS PEANUTS.
@Critter1211: I ain't from the circus but I have a cpla nuts I'll give ya
@MrWalkSoftly: Throw some sugar on em and I'm game
Oh, and.....
""Despite popular beliefs about how blood sugar levels relate to craving, there is very little if any evidence indicating this to be true. Food cravings are largely a psychological phenomenon that relates to old habits and learning. The most likely reason that we see cravings in folks like you who have developed type 2 diabetes may simply be that the history of eating patterns that contributed to the development of the diabetes is persisting."
