My youngest son is off to boot camp. He will be gone for 10 weeks, then come back to finish his last year of high-school. After graduation, he will leave to do his AIT. I'm so proud and sad at the same time. My baby is all grown up....I can't post pics or I'd show him in his uniform..

My daughter's youngest brother left for boot camp yesterday. Headed to Oklahoma.

@MrWalkSoftly: lol no it's her dads and step moms son. They have 2 boys together and i have 1 son from another marriage.

I forget abt that lol.

@MrWalkSoftly: i would be freaking out if my son just left for the Army. He almost joined the Coast Guard and i was supportive, but i would've had a heart attack.

My mom was excited to see my ship off to bootcamp. She knew that it was a good thing.

And let's face it, it ain't like he's going to Marine Corps bootcamp. It's the Army....the hardest thing he'll hafta do is decide which flavor of ice cream the maid brings him for dessert
