I actually talked to and ended up moving in with my first love at the beginning of last year. Things were great the first few months, but once i moved in they quickly changed. We are still civil, but i really have nothing to say to him.

I recently had just such an opportunity and this is exactly how it went. I was pleasantly surprised at how much we laughed. All that "intensity" of first love vanished and we had fun reminiscing.
