Im gonna start this off by saying im straight.... or so i thought. last night i confessed my love for my best friend... sat there for hours crying my eyes out telling her how i felt and how strongly. yeah there was some tequila involved... but when i woke up this morning i still felt the same way. and i told her that. she didnt say much. im kinda waiting for her responce. but i told her no matter how she felt i didnt want this to screw up our friendship. that id be happy just to be her bestfriend for the rest of my life. but im worried that it will screw everythig up... she kinda knew how i felt before but i never actually said it outloud.

It's a great feeling of relief at your end and perhaps she'll appreciate your honesty but i think , you better control your emotion if you dont want to ruin your friendship with her OP. You have to recognize and accept that what you have with her is friendship UNLESS she'll like the idea of building deeper relationship with you.

I let her kno my feelings. she made sure i still felt that way the next day. i told her if i had to wait i would. but that all that mattered was if she was still my best friend no matter what happened. so now im just waiting i guess

Sometimes its hard. Because once you cross that line of just friendship there is no going back. So either way i hope you are prepared for either outcome. Because some people wont cross that line because there is no going back and both get hurt and lose a friendship. Good luck too you.
