I have a dog named daisy. She is half doberman and half weiner dog. She is so sweet and is a cute dog. She is about a yr old now. I rescued her from an abusive home. They threw her outside beat her didnt trim her toenails didnt feed her and let her get pregnant before she was a yr old. She was so scared to come to anyone when i got her didnt know what toys or treats were or anything. She is so sweet and cute so i ask how could someone just abuse a poor little dog like that and why isnt abuse reported more?

I wish it was reported more, i love animals and hate people who abuse them.

I think its people not wanting to get involved. In my town they dont do much other than give warnings or take the animal and put it down. Need real laws to protect them.

Yes i agree on new laws. It saddens me why people do this. If they can do it to animals think about the children they have. Its such a crime.

Sadly a lot of people believe in a disposable pet. For some reason they believe that they can just get rid of it and are not responsible for what happens afterwards. I love animals and if you are gonna get rid of a pet at least find it a new home first.

@mandiejean: I'm so glad you rescued her from that horrific environment. It makes me sick how people have no respect for animals. I saw the documentary 'Earthlings' and was never the same. It just took cruelty to animals to a WHOLE other level. The dog part of it had me crying nonstop....one of the most inhumane things I've ever seen.

My mom has 6 dogs and 6cats....most of which were rescued. She is hooked on saving animals, i promise u 75% of her income a month go to vet bills. She has a cat tht had its tail cut off cuz of abuse and half its lip, she has a dog tht has allergies has to eat expensive lamb food and take meds everyday, not everyone would go thru the trouble. I have a cat that was thrown out the car window, he is my baby, he definently knows who saved him, he lays on me alllll the time.

That is awful. People are truely screwed up!

@mandiejean: well that was so sweet of u i dont belive in buying pets there is so many good pet that only want to be loved and animal are much more forgiven than humans i have a 4 year old boxer pit i save from the needle i had all the girls at the shelter in tears before i adopted him they didnt tell me that he had 4 days to live but enough of that he is my best friend and the greatest dog
