June 11th white appreciation day (by Nenavar)
(31 / M-MF / New York)What may have started as a joke has received serious backlash for being racist. A Latino restaurant owner in colorado has declared June 11 white appreciation day and is giving a 10% discount to white customers. He is the first Gen Mexican American of his family and has stated that: We are all Americans. In light of the backlash.
Living in North Louisiana, Im kinda partial to black owned diners.....We have a a cpl here that serve some plate lunches to DIE for...black eyed peas, fried pork chops, okra ten ways to Sunday, gravy thatll make you slap your grandma,.....and dont get me started on the fried yard bird...We should have a black diner owners appreciation day. Yum, YUMMMMM!
