About to take my daughter to cheer practice with this killer headache... should be fun. I think when its done ilk just ear to the hospital since its not improving

Well they fixed my head for a few hours.... but now its just as bad again

A spinal headache is caused by leaking spinal fluid when the dura which is the thin membrane that surrounds the spinal cord is punctured by a spinal needle. The fluid acts as a cushion around the brain and without it, the brain tends to sag and rubs painfully against the bony skull. This brain sagging causes stretching in the connective tissues in the cranium which also causes pain. A further cause of pain is the loss of Cerebral Spinal Fluid (CSF) which causes blood vessels in the brain to dilate.

Hate that youre in pain:( On top of bein pregnant too:( Hope they can help you get rid of that headache-and the spinal leakage stops soon!

@IndianDreamer: they did a blood patch which helped last night but it didn't last so I guess I'm going to have to end up going back again

@CarefulBitchesImPregnant: Hopefully it shld get better soon...how long did the doc say the headaches wld last?

@WalkSoftly1: it would stop after the patch... which it did but started again this morning

Well I'm feeling about 80 percent better.. but just my luck, ill have my 2 year old niece all weekend and my sin just came down with a 102.4 fever
