Sunday Dinner! (by MrWalkSoftly)
Since its just me and my grandmother, I don't really cook a Sunday dinner often. But on religious holidays and thanksgiving, I cook for the whole family.
But, our religion is very important to us, so we still go to Mass every Sunday at the basilica.

Pot Roast with tators an carrots
That was moms Sunday meal, of course, growin up in a pastors house, we had to throw dinner in early so it'd cook all day while we were at the church.
It was also a throwback to my dads childhood, they always ahd roast and all the fixins every Sunday during his childhood at his grandparents house.

It's just me and I hate cooking big...but when I do, it's something like today that I can eat on for several days.
If I remember correctly, my mom would do alot of stuff the day before
In the summer id no drought we would often have fish fry too
@MrWalkSoftly: I love cooking big. Its where I shine. But, there's just no reason. A pot of chili or a meatloaf suffices for us. Even then it lasts two days, lol.
@MrWalkSoftly: right? Now that we're older, mom doesn't do big spreads unless it's thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter
The chicken n sketti was....woooooo I'm full
